Corridor
A bottomless mimosa that stays bottomless, Corridor doesn’t let up on hearty meals or intoxicating beverages. Of course, on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon you would want to explore and adventure after a good meal. But after post Monkey Bread (this pull-apart bread with cheddar cheese and chive oil is available at lunch and dinner, but it’s one of those things you order any time you can), Butter Fried Pancake, Corridor Slam (buttermilk biscuit, mushroom gravy, fried eggs, bacon), and, of course, the Neapolitan-Style Doughnut… A food coma is inevitable. // 100 Van Ness Ave, Civic Center, corridorsf.co
a Mano
With a brunch menu coming very soon to the Hayes Valley resident, this recent open has been gaining a lot of buzz over their insatiable love for pasta. In case you didn’t know: A Mano means “by hand” in Italian and refers to the way in which the kitchen and the bar approach the creation of each and every dish and cocktail. At the most basic level, A Mano is an Italian restaurant with an emphasis on pasta. Pasta–an inherently straightforward and inexpensive dish (the ingredients are simply flour and water) — a dish you’ll soon to love is their roasted asparagus, fonduta, prosciutto mixed all together with their famed pasta. // 450 Hayes St, Hayes Valley, amanosf.com
Alta CA
The Dogpatch has a lot to offer now that cool restaurants and bars are setting their sites for the almost unknown neighborhood.
