The cast of Total Divas is a revolving door of WWE Superstars. Some have been part of the show since day one. Others have only lasted a single season. And a few have been on for a season, off for a few, and then back again. With the ninth season coming up, longtime fans know who they like and who they don’t.

Looking back through the show’s history, there are more fan favorites than they are people who we wanted to leave. Even so, we’ve figured out the five who are the most beloved and the five that audiences wished would just go away. Some might surprise you.

Go Away: Alicia Fox

She hasn’t always been a main cast member but Alicia Fox is a staple of Total Divas. Alicia has been a guest star for most of the show’s run and was part of the cast for three seasons. When she was around, Alicia was often seen hanging out with Paige and Rosa Mendes, dubbing themselves the “Three Amigas.”

It wasn’t like fans were fuming whenever Alicia Fox came on screen. It’s just that she never really added much to the show. Whether it was drama or comedy, her entertainment factor was low. She seemed to match Paige’s maturity level, even though Paige was so much younger than her. It wasn’t endearing and fans don’t seem to miss her.

Love: Natalya

One of the originals. Natalya is technically the only woman to be a main cast member in every season, because the Bella Twins will be considered guest stars this time around. Nattie certainly has her annoying habits. She is desperate for validation, thrives to be liked by her peers, and is known to get into petty squabbles.

That being said, Nattie is still loved by the Total Divas audience. She brings a sense of wrestling knowledge to the show and a lot of her problems are relatable. Her relationship with TJ (Tyson Kidd) is a strong one that fans appreciate. But her best asset to the show is all of the shenanigans she gets into. From the infamous Icy Hot issue to hiring a dominatrix to her pants ripping during a match, she’s always good for entertainment.

Go Away: Nia Jax

Since joining WWE’s main roster in 2016, Nia Jax has had quite a career. She captured the Raw Women’s Championship, competed in the men’s Royal Rumble, and wrestled Ronda Rousey on pay-per-view. And she did it all while pushing a body-positive message because she doesn’t look like your typical female competitor.

That makes her someone worth rooting for in the ring, but on Total Divas, she’s far less likable. Nia has stuck her foot in her mouth on plenty of occasions. It has led to altercations and arguments with the other cast members. A lot of her storylines are weak like when she had the girls help her move or when she and Paige got an everyday job.

Love: Naomi

Another one of the original cast members! Naomi, known on the show by her real name Trinity, has been dropped from the cast and picked back up. Viewers can assume she was ousted because she didn’t bring the kind of drama that reality TV audiences crave. They can also assume she was brought back out of popularity.

Naomi is one of the most genuine people on the show. What you see is what you get with her and audiences dig that realness. What she lacks in major drama she more than makes up for in fun. Almost any scene featuring her and her husband Jon (Jimmy Uso) is a hoot.

Go Away: Lana

When Lana officially joined the series in season six, it made perfect sense. She is a beautiful woman with acting experience and a personality that was ideal for a reality television show. Throw in her incredibly likable husband Rusev and you had a recipe for success. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way.

Lana’s time on the show mostly saw her being a nuisance, especially when it came to Natalya. She looked to the veteran for guidance but came on way too strong. The two of them together were combustible and not in a way that made for good TV.

Love: Daniel Bryan

The lone male to appear on this list. Daniel Bryan is considered a guest star but he’s been around since the first episode. As Brie Bella’s husband, he’s a constant fixture and is part of some of the show’s greatest moments. That includes emotional stuff like his wedding and hilarious ones like the bus he rented for everyone to travel in.

What makes Daniel Bryan so likable is how he often is the voice of reason. There have been countless arguments between Nikki and Brie that Bryan has helped squash because he comes in as the person thinking clearly. He can also be a great source of comedy because he’s such an odd guy who is different from everyone else in the series.

Go Away: Rosa Mendes

For about a decade, Rosa Mendes was under WWE contract and a lot of people wondered why. She never really developed as a wrestler, never won a single match, and didn’t add much to the wrestlers she managed. When Rosa got added to the main cast in two separate seasons, it was a giant question mark.

Rosa joined Paige and Alicia Fox as the often annoying “Three Amigas.” She kissed an unsuspecting Paige after badly misinterpreting their friendship. She staged a wardrobe malfunction to get noticed. Even when she got proposed to at a romantic location, there wasn’t any heart behind it. Just an uninteresting character.

Love: Brie Bella

As soon as Total Divas was announced, it was clear that the Bella Twins were going to be the focal point. The relationship between Brie and Nikki is one of the driving forces. Fans have watched as Brie has gone through sibling arguments, marriage, motherhood, retirement, and more.

Above all else, most people’s favorite thing about Brie Bella is “Brie Mode.” This was introduced early on as an explanation of who Brie becomes when she gets drunk. The saying became so popular that it is a major part of Brie’s WWE merchandise and even the opening lyrics to her theme song.

Go Away: Eva Marie

One of the most consistent members of the Total Divas cast was Eva Marie. She was a main star for six full seasons and always rubbed people the wrong way. The first two things we see involving Eva saw her dye her hair red against the company’s wishes and then lie about being able to dance to fast track her way to television.

Eva Marie spent the rest of her time on the show focusing on her dull relationship, hanging out with her strange family, or trying to convince everyone that she was taking wrestling seriously. It never worked out. WWE let her go and she hasn’t gotten back into wrestling again, choosing instead to act and model. Good for her but it feels like every moment with her on the show was a waste of time.

Love: Nikki Bella

if Brie Bella is going to be on the list, then Nikki also has to. Nikki has become the biggest star from the show, both in the ring and outside of it. She was the longest-reigning Divas Champion, secured her real estate license, appeared on Dancing with the Stars, and runs several businesses with her sister.

Nikki tops the list because she’s a ton of fun. Her personality is made for reality television but in a likable way. Her relationship with John Cena was a constant source of adorable moments. She loved to have a glass of wine, was open when it came to discussing even the naughtiest topics, and despite her fame, feels like the kind of person you want to hang out with.
