90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ Angela Deem is desperate for a baby after her fiancé Micheal and his family expressed how important is for him to continue on the family name. After promising that her daughter will step up and give her mother some of her eggs, Angela’s daughter flat out refuses.
Angela and Michael have shown their tumulous relationship to audiences on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on season 2 and the current season 3. There have been plenty of breakups due to a mountain of trust issues. Micheal admitted to cheating on Angela shortly after they first got together and the reality stars have had several explosive fights on the show over the years. It seems like they’re trying to put their fights behind them and are now focusing on their future. 53-year-old Angela is trying to figure out any way possible to give 31-year-old Micheal the baby he desires.
After going to a fertility clinic with Micheal, Angela discovered that she only had one egg left and it’s unsure if the egg is even viable. Since it’s important for her to have a baby from her own bloodline, she calls up her daughter, Skyla, in the US to ask her for an egg. The problem is, she already asked Skyla for an egg back when she was in the US and she replied with an adamant, “Hell no.” However, she did say she might be willing to be a surrogate but doesn’t want it to be one of her eggs. The good news is, that Angela’s uterus is healthy enough to “tote a baby,” but the fact that she has one egg that might be a “dud” is the only real issue.
Micheal joins the skype conversation between Angela and Skyla and he asked her, “Can you give us your egg?” In which Skyla’s reply, “Micheal, you cannot have an egg of mine.” After flat out refusing, she told Micheal that he “shouldn’t be trying to get mama to be doing this anyways if you cared about her health.” Skyla expressed concerns that her mother is too old for such “a dangerous procedure.” When Skyla suggested her mom is too old, 53-year-old Angela gets on the defensive. Skyla insists, “You never know. Complications happen.” That’s when Skyla flat out says, “You don’t need no baby. Micheal, you don’t need no baby.” Angela hits back with, “We’re gonna have a baby, Skyla.” That’s when Angela offers to pay her daughter for her eggs, but Skyla wants nothing to do with it, saying she wouldn’t even do it for a million dollars. She said it’s because she feels like it would be like giving up one of her own children.
Not having a baby will have a huge impact on their relationship, as Micheal explains it, he’s been clear to Angela since the beginning that having children is very important to him. If she’s unable to give him children, their relationship might suffer even more. Even if Angela can get an egg that is viable from her bloodline, it seems like the bigger issue is if her relationship with Micheal will be solid enough to welcome a baby. It remains to be seen how this whole situation will play out and fans will have to keep watching to find out.
