On the recent and explosive episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Mursel decides he must listen to his family, which entails leaving Anna and her three children and go back to Turkey to find a suitable wife there. Following the break-up, Anna kicks Mursel out of her home and sets him up at a hotel.

38-year-old Anna met 38-year-old Mursel when they connected online through their shared passion for beekeeping. Despite the language barrier, the two began talking and a romance blossomed. The full-time mom of three met Mursel in his home country of Turkey, the two got engaged via social media. Other than the obvious problems of communication, it was revealed that Mursel’s family doesn’t know his bride-to-be is already a mom and wouldn’t approve of her having children out of wedlock due to his Muslim culture. Mursel has been living in Nebraska and preparing for the marriage, but still refuses to tell his parents about Anna’s children. After Anna gave him an ultimatum to either tell his parents about her children or the wedding will be called off. However, after telling his parents, they demanded he comes home and leaves Anna behind. Not being able to disobey his family’s wishes, he tells Anna that it’s over.

On the explosive new episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Mursel maintained he loves Anna, but insists there is nothing he can do but obey his family’s commands. Mursel tried explaining the situation to Anna’s mother and kids by describing his family as “very aggressive” and “bad.” Regardless, Anna, Anna’s mother, and her three sons were disappointed in him for being weak, and even Anna’s youngest son said he wished he’d stand up to his family and do “manly” things. However, Anna’s mother just wanted to know how to get him back to Turkey as quickly as possible, as she wasn’t happy about seeing her daughter’s heart has been broken. He bought himself a ticket and plans to go back to Turkey.

With two days left to his departure, Anna sends Mursel to a hotel room to stay. He revealed that he still loves Anna. He began texting Anna, where she called him “weak” for not standing up to his family. His reply, “Me [sic] very bad men.” In which Anna said that if they cannot be together, then she wants him “gone” and out of her and her children’s lives. Mursel said that staying at the hotel made him “feel lonely,” and “desperate.” He said that being in a foreign country, alone in a hotel room really made him realize just how alone he is without Anna. He expressed that he’d “love to be by Anna’s side rather than at a hotel.” Since he would be leaving in just two days, he explained that he wished he could have spent the last days with her. Anna continued to message him, saying that he didn’t fight for their love enough and that she hates him. After he asked to see her one last time, she replied with a solid, “No.” That’s when he video-called her, in which she put into simple English words for Mursel to understand, “Me, you, Finished.” That’s when Mursel understood that it’s really over.

In the preview for next week’s episode, it looks as though Anna’s mind hasn’t changed. Since Mursel is leaving back to Turkey and not fighting for their love, she wants nothing to do with him and is making it very clear. He tells her that he wants to kiss her and she replies that she wants to punch him. It seems like this marriage is over, but fans will have to watch what happens next week to see if these two will make it work through all of the cultural differences, family disagreements, and language barriers.
