Are Tania and Syngin from 90 Day Fiancé still married? For viewers who watched the two-part tell-all reunion special, it was plain to see that the couple is very much together. However, Tania and Syngin are not without relationship issues.
Fans were alarmed when Tania from 90 Day Fiancé left to spend 30 days in Costa Rica to learn herbalism during her boyfriend Syngin’s 90-day vetting period that is allowed through the K-1 visa. He was unable to go with her due to the visa process, so she left him with her family to reside alone in an unfinished shed behind her mother’s house. While away, Tania and Syngin’s relationship was put to the test when she repeatedly failed to check in with her fiancé on a regular basis, and he began questioning whether the relationship was a good fit for him. Tania eventually returned to her home in Connecticut, and was greeted warmly by Syngin. However, shortly thereafter, the couple endured more tension when Tania admitted during an astrological reading that she didn’t believe Syngin was her soul mate. If ever there was a moment in their relationship when a split was imminent, according to Syngin, this was it.
Syngin responded to the awkward moment on a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé, saying “When Tania told me she didn’t feel that I was her soulmate, I was completely destroyed by that. Another major sticking point between Syngin and Tania is her biological clock. Tania has been quite vocal about starting a family immediately, while Syngin has expressed a desire to take time to suss out whether that’s a move he wants to make. He said, “You know, it’s something we still bump heads about. It’s a big thing. We’re kind of skipping around the fact that we don’t talk about it too much. Because like, do we split if I don’t want kids?”
In the end, the couple married, with their irreverent wedding broadcast on the Feb. 9 episode of the show. Tania wore a black gown, further adding to her deeply individual persona. The couple also received zodiac ring tattoos on their special day. After appearing on Sunday’s two-part tell-all, it’s clear both Syngin and Tania are still very much in love but also have a lot of lifestyle issues to work out. He appears to have forgiven her soulmate comment, even though that wound was reopened on the reunion special. Tania offered a tepid explanation of what she meant by the comment with several of the other couples weighing in on the issue. Recently, in Syngin’s home country of South Africa, anonymous sources have taken to the Internet to say they’ve seen the reality couple filming with what looks to be a TLC camera crew. This has fueled rumors that no only are Tania and Syngin not divorcing, but that they may pop up on one of the various 90 Day Fiancé spin-off series.
Tania and Syngin appear to be going strong in spite of some pretty alarming differences in lifestyle choices and personal opinions. Syngin is a very likable personality and Tania is extremely strong, which makes her fascinating to watch. However, their opposing views on children and soulmates don’t exactly instill confidence in their future. The one thing that is evident is that they care enough about each other in key areas to try to make their love work. Tania mentioned on the tell-all episode that she’s grateful her husband allows her to be her true self. To his credit, Syngin seems mostly unfazed by Tania’s wayward and occasionally selfish ways. Therein lies the secret to their relationship success. Sometimes, the couples who have the greatest longevity aren’t the compatible ones; it’s the people who wake up each morning and choose each other, in spite of their overwhelming differences.
