Darcey and Stacey Silva’s from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fashion line was inspired by their late brother. The sisters wanted to work on a project that could represent their beloved brother’s memory.
TLC originally followed this mother of two and twin who left everything behind in America to go to Amsterdam to meet her long-distance boyfriend, Jesse Meester who was a young, personal trainer. Once there, the obvious differences between Meester and Silva became all too apparent to viewers. Silva longed for affection and attention, while it seemed the more indifferent Meester wished for a more private woman. Even though that love did not work out, Silva’s resilient heart kept her going, and she soon found love again with another foreign beau, Tom Brooks.
On Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, viewers watched Darcey and her sister Stacey talked about their upcoming projects while both trying on wedding dresses. Viewers were surprised when the wedding dress turned out to be for their fashion line rather then Darcey’s desperate run down the aisle. The twins revealed they had named their fashion line, House of Eleven, after the late brother, Michael J. Silva who passed away from cancer. The designer’s aim was to create beautiful garments and a reasonable price. The fashion line also said they work with all different body types to promote a healthy self-image.
The Silva twins also decided to donate a share of their profits to a cancer foundation that honors their brothers as well as other causes. The 44-year-old revealed on the episode that she and her sister were looking to expand their line into bridal wear. Later in the episode, Darcey received a call from Tom saying he would be in New York City and wanted to meet with her. The situation was all too familiar to Darcey as her last boyfriend, Jesse dumped her upon arrival. The mother of tw0 quickly became defensive which irritated Tom. The two simultaneously hung up on each other.
Fans of the popular show had not really seen another side to Darcey other than the desperate and needy housewife. Viewers enjoyed being able to watch Darcey excel in her career with her sister’s support and wish they would be able to see more scenes of Darcey as a stable induvial. Next week sneak peek does not paint a good light for the TLC star as she was seen furiously running on a treadmill.
