Is Rosemarie pretending to be her sister on 90 Day Fiancé to get Big Ed’s money? The young mother is looking forward to meeting her love interest and leaving her country behind.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is a series that prequels TLC’s hit show 90 Day Fiancé. Before all of the visa drama and the 90 days’ time frame for marriage, Before the 90 Days documents the couples meeting each other for the first time in person as they travel far and wide to meet their online loves. The newest couple met on Instagram when Rosemarie friended Ed. Despite the 31-year age gap, the couple was immediately smitten with each other. While Rosemarie lives in poverty, Ed is planning a grand gesture by flying to her native country of the Philippines and proposing after they meet for the first time.
During a sneak peek of Sunday’s all-new episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, viewers watched as Ed became suspicious that he may be used for his financial stability. Rosemarie’s sister had decided to secretly message Ed demanding money. She insisted they were in dire straits. Ed replied to the message saying it would have to wait until he met with the family face to face. The sister then asked that Ed not inform Rosemarie of their interaction. This raised a red flag for the San Diego native. Viewers are aware that the sisters do in fact run a small business from the back of their house and questioned if the need for money had to do with their business.
During the episode, fans were introduced to Rosemarie and her family as they ran their daily lives in the Philippines. The young mother had no running water or electricity as she showed her day-to-day activities. During a sisterly conversation, Rosemarie’s sister commented that it was okay that Ed was a bit chubby as he was rich and would take care of her. Rosemarie then revealed that she wanted to have two children with the American, which made viewers believe that she would like to be taken care of. Fans questioned how Rosemarie’s sister would have Ed’s contact information and many believed that it was, in fact, his fiancée trying to extort money from him.
Fans are hopeful that Ed made the right decisions to risk it all, which included a relationship with his daughter to make their love work. But as of the last two episodes, fans can not help but be very skeptical of Rosemarie’s intentions, especially since she has a young son.
