Stars of season 7’s 90 Day Fiancé, Mursel and Anna are having trouble in their relationship after he comes clean to his parents about his fiancée, Anna having three children. After the conversation with his parents, Mursel decides to call off the wedding with Anna and is planning on going home to Turkey.

38-year-old Anna met 38-year-old Mursel when they connected online through their shared passion for beekeeping. Despite the language barrier, the two began talking and a romance blossomed. The full-time mom of three met Mursel in his home country of Turkey, the two got engaged via social media. Other than the obvious problems of communication, it was revealed that Mursel’s family doesn’t know his bride-to-be is already a mom and wouldn’t approve of her having children out of wedlock due to his Muslim culture. Mursel’s been in Nebraska living with Anna for almost the whole 90 days, and it’s been a struggle for Anna to understand why Mursel can’t stand up to his family and tell them about his soon-to-be step-children, but Mursel insists it will cause more problems than it’s worth.

Last week on 90 Day Fiancé, Anna told Mursel he needs to tell his parents about her three young sons she has from her previous marriage, or she will not be able to marry him. In order to keep Anna, he decides he will tell his family. This week on the December 22nd episode, Mursel revealed that he’s scared that she will send him back to Turkey otherwise, so he decided to tell his parents the truth. He said, “Even though Anna will be happy about this, she will be really upset when she sees the reaction from them.” Mursel calls up his parents on video chat, where he tells his mother, “Anna has three children.” His mother replies, “She took you for a fool.” She explains to her son that Anna was not the ideal choice for Mursel and tells him, “Screw it. Come home.” After the phone call, he spoke to the cameras, saying, “When my family reacted to Anna’s children, even I was surprised. Before this phone call, they have always expressed nice stuff about Anna.”

Mursel explained to the producers the situation, “They perceived her as a bad woman. I mean incredibly bad.” He dropped a bombshell, saying, “They want me to go back to Turkey. They tell me what I do is nonsense.” Anna comes and asks how the conversation went. He replied with a simple, “They don’t want you.” She asked about the marriage too, and he nodded yes. When she asked what do they do next, he replied, “I’m going to leave now.” Anna burst in tears and said to the cameras that she is absolutely “devastated,” by the news. She said, “We love each other and we invested all of this time and money. And one word from his family and it’s done.” Mursel tells Anna, “We ruined everything.”

In the clip for next week, Anna’s mother shows up and questions Mursel’s intentions for coming to America in the first place. Regardless, it seems like Mursel’s fate is sealed after he dropped the bombshell of Anna having three kids to his family. For now, it looks like this 90 Day Fiancé couple is done and there will be no wedding. This shows that some of the more difficult challenges on the show isn’t always wrapped up in receiving the visa, but oftentimesntime the blending two lives part of the relationship, such as navigating the family drama and the big cultural differences that proves to be the most difficult.
