On a sneak preview for next week’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Anny gets Robert a discount on a wedding chapel venue, because her soon-to-be husband said it was slightly out of his budget. Anny took matters into her own hands and asked for a discount and managed to knock the price down for Robert.
41-year-old Robert and 30-year-old Anny met on social media and the two talked every day for six months. Robert, who lives in Winter Park, Florida, booked a cruise with a one-day stopover in the Dominican Republic so that he could finally meet Anny in person. The couple spent eight blissful hours together in the Dominican Republic, during which Robert proposed to Anny that very first day, without a ring. They applied for the K-1 Visa and now Anny is in the US. With Robert having a full-time job at a rideshare company, he’s expressed that he expects Anny to step up and be that mother to Bryson, whom he cares for full time since his biological mother is no longer in the picture. So far what fans have seen Anny and Robert bicker over finances and the fact that Robert had promised Anny more than what he’s given her.
In the preview for the upcoming episode, Robert and Anny go wedding venue shopping in search of the perfect place to tie the knot. With only 36 days before the wedding, the couple has to find a venue soon. Robert revealed that his bride-to-be desired a beach wedding on the ocean, so they had to make a compromise. They went to check out a venue with a chapel and a large tropical garden. The garden had beautiful features like a bridge, a water feature, a gazebo, and a cocktail area. Anny loved the venue immediately, even though it wasn’t her ideal expensive oceanfront wedding. She explained, “I compromise because I don’t want to be fighting all of the time.” Anny also admitted it has to do with the budget, saying, “And Robert don’t have a lot of money.” Check out the full 90 Day Fiancé preview clip below:
Anny was in love with the property after she took a tour of the garden while Robert wasn’t sold on the venue until he saw the inside of the chapel. The couple then sat down with the venue owner to talk price. The venue owner told Anny and Robert two separate packages, the standard wedding package would include just garden and photographer which was $550 and then there’s the cheaper route of having access to only the garden and photographer for $380. That’s when Anny asked the venue owner, “You don’t give a discount to him?” She explained, “I want discount for I can pay.” The venue owner said that she’d knock down the standard price from $550 to $380 and Robert exclaimed, “That would be great!” The cameras, Robert gushed over his soon-to-be bride’s negotiating skills and Anny beamed with pride.
While Robert is known to be a bit of a cheapskate, it seems that Anny is not only accepting it but she’s doing what she can to help him out and get the best wedding for them possible. Though it seemed that money was the biggest issue between the couple, it’s a nice change to see money bring the couple together. It seems that this couple may actually be one of the few of this cast that will actually make it down the aisle.
