Alex Brovarnik, from 90 Day Fiancé fame, recently just rescued a man from drowning in the ocean and the whole thing was caught on camera. The video showed Alex running into the lend a helping hand to a man who appeared to be unconcious.
Alex and Loren originally met while the Florida native was partaking in a trip to Israel via Birthright. Alex happened to be the tour’s medic for the entire trip and the two hit it off quickly. The couple first was featured in season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé but now star on TLC’s spin-off, Pillow Talk. The couple is also expecting their first child. Loren has also worked with the Tourette’s community to bring awareness to the disease as she opened up about her struggles while starring on the popular show. The pair have become one of the most touching suceess stories that’s come from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.
The TLC alum was captured rescuing a man on Sunday from rough seas. The incident took place in the Bahamas where the couple was vacationing. The Israeli’s wife, Loren shared the heroic video but also made sure to criticize the unnamed victims’ friends for not stepping in to help with the rescue. Loren claimed that they both were watching the intoxicated man struggle while his friends just stood around laughing. She posted to Instagram the disturbing video of Alexei dragging the man to shore, which can be seen below:
The video showed the victim entering the water and then immediately struggling to stay afloat. Alex, who was not only a trained medic but also a lifeguard was shown dragging the body of a man who was clearly unconscious. The 32-year-old was seen carrying the man all the way to the shore. The man who was recording the incident is heard yelling out asking if the man was breathing. The mystery man was taken away in an ambulance and as of now, his condition is unknown. The man’s friends were said to have stayed on the beach and continued to party. The doting wife went on to say that it was a miracle her husband and friend, Sean Apache, were on the beach when they were.
Almost no one can argue that it was a charitable act on behalf of Alex but no good deed goes unpunished as some social media followers have criticized Loren for posting the video saying that when you share a kind act for the attention it defeats the purpose. The reality star defended herself, explaining that they were trying to locate the man to see if he survived the ordeal. She was also very proud of her husband for performing such a selfless act in which he was the factor for life or death.
