90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson claims that estranged husband, Jay Smith, might have gotten his new girlfriend pregnant. Ashley says she knows who the other woman is, and that she looked like she was pregnant when she saw her in court.
Ashley and Jay’s relationship was well documented as part of season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé. Ashley, from Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania, met Smith in Jamaica and married in May 2018. After only a few days into the marriage, Ashley caught Jay texting women on a dating app, but they continued to work on their marriage. In season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Ashley found out that Jay had had sex with a woman in the bathroom of the barbershop that he did his tattoo apprenticeship out of. She then immediately kicked him out and filed for divorce. After the stress caused Ashley another onset of lupus, Jay came back to take care of her while she got out of the hospital. Due to this, Ashley withdrew the papers nine days after initially filing for divorce to try to work on their relationship. However, after catching Jay cheating again, she filed for divorce for the second time in April.
Ashley appeared on The Domenick Nati Show to speak about how Jay violated the protection from abuse order she had placed against him by when he posted about her on social media. After that, he was taken back to court to face charges. Since Ashely never filed for the change in status for his immigration by refusing to sponsor him, he was placed in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody. Ashley explained why she never wanted to sponsor him, saying, “I would be responsible for him for ten years.” Not only that, but she spoke about how she thinks Jay might be a dad soon, saying, “There are already a lot of rumors going around that his girlfriend [Kayla O’Brien], who is running the GoFundMe, is pregnant.”
Although Jay and Kayla are denying the fact that they are more than just friends, Ashley says she has proof, adding, “I’m not sure why she’s saying that they’re not. He was blowing kisses at her in the courtroom.” Ashley said she couldn’t necessarily prove that the alleged mistress was, in fact, pregnant, but she did mention that Jay’s sister has posted something on Instagram eluding to the fact that she is expecting a niece or nephew. When she saw Jay at court for the hearing before he was placed in ICE detention, Ashley said, “From what I saw was at court, she definitely looked like she could be expecting.” Since Jay has since released from a Pennsylvania ICE detention center, after spending four weeks in custody, there has been a video that surfaced of a woman running to hug Jay which is speculated to be Kayla.
Although Ashley says she can’t confirm the pregnancy for sure, she did seem to feel confident in what she saw in the courtroom. If that is the case, Jay still being unable to legally work in the US could potentially end up causing even more trouble for him if there is a baby on the way. As for now, though, it remains to be seen if or when Jay will come clean about the extent of his relationship with Kayla.
