Former 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson was seen flirting on her Instagram stories with The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise alum Christian Estrada. It looks like this could be a reality TV crossover couple in the making.
Ashley’s previous relationship with Jay Smith was well documented on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé. Ashley, from Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania, met Jay in Jamaica and married in May 2018, but the two had infidelity problems since the beginning. In season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Ashley found out that Jay had had slept with another woman in the bathroom of his tattoo apprenticeship. She then immediately kicked him out and filed for divorce, though she ultimately withdrew the papers nine days after initially filing for divorce to try to work on their relationship. However, after claiming that she caught Jay cheating again, she filed for divorce for a second time in April. Jay had his issues with the law and was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but was just released on July 31. There have been rumors that Jay has a girlfriend (and possibly a baby on the way), and it looks like Ashley is doing her best to move on from the relationship.
Earlier this week, just two days after her estranged husband was released from ICE custody, Ashley proved she has moved on by posting flirtatious Instagram posts about a new guy - The Bachelorette’s Christian Estrada. According to Us Weekly, Bachelor Nation knows Christian from Season 14 of The Bachelorette, where he was swiftly eliminated by Becca Kufrin in the first week. Christian is known as a former semi-professional soccer player, banker, model, and actor. Ashley started flirting with him online when she posted on her Instagram stories a picture of him, with the caption, “Blinded from the start” accompanied with a heart-eye emoji, which he immediately re-posted to his story. Not only that, according to both of Ashley and Christian’s individual Instagram stories matching up (via Realitytv2day), there seems to be a crossover of them at the same party, as they both posted a picture of the same Jenga game on the same night. Christian, who is confirmed to be starring in the current season of Bachelor in Paradise, is seen in a heated argument with another contestant. It’s likely the tensions had something to do with castm embers fighting over potential love interests, as that’s the general premise of the show. As for Ashley and Christian, there seems to be a lot of evidence pointing to the fact that these two may be starting a fling together, though it could just as well turn out to be innocent flirtations.
There is no denying that Bachelor in Paradies star and the former 90 Day Fiancé star are definitely running in the same circles. Whether their “relationship” pans out into anything serious - assuming that’s what either of them are looking for - remains to be seen. If they do end up together, it turn into a crossover reality TV romance.
