A former star of 90 Day Fiancé, Corey Rathgeber’s marital status was finally revealed on the DUI police report. Many fans of Corey worried about his future with fiancée Evelin and wondered if they were really meant together after she was accused of cheating on him multiple times.
Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas both appeared on the very first season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way where Corey made the decision to give up everything in the United States to go try and make a life with Villegas in her home country of Ecuador where she lived in a small town. The two have had to deal with the death of his father while he was away, as well as a cheating scandal, which left the two on shaky ground.
According to Soap Dirt, Rathgeber had arrested as 2019 came to a close thanks to drinking and then driving. Soap Dirt reported that the TLC alum was arrested on November 15th, 2019 in Skamania, Washington for driving while under the influence. The police report revealed interesting information regarding the reality star’s arrest which said that a deputy had stopped him while he was driving home from a brewery. The police report showed that reality star was not only confused but also smelled of alcohol. The reality star also was said to have bloodshot eyes and not comprehend that he was actually being arrested.
The police report also showed that Rathgeber’s marriage status as “married” according to the report. While the police report doesn’t specify who he’s married to, it’s assumed that he’s married to his fiancée Evelin. The news outlet obtained a copy of Evelin’s legal status which also showed that she had put her spouse down as Rathgeber and the paperwork showed the couple as married. After reading the news, many fans are confused at the idea that the couple could be committing fraud by telling the TLC network that they are still engaged.
The police officer involved in the arrest wrote notes that he had to force Rathgeber into handcuffs because the TLC star did not understand what was going on. The normally attractive blonde was said to be flushed with soiled clothing. Evidently, Rathgeber’s arrest was hinted at by co-star, Laura Jallali when she took to her Instagram live to let her fans know the update. Rathgeber quickly took to the defense as he threatened Jallali with legal action if she spoke about him again. But the truth was in the pudding with the release of the police report as it showed he was way above the legal limit.
