The upcoming star of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Geoffrey Paschel was accused of raping his ex-wife and abusing his ex-girlfriend. The newest reality star’s violent past has been made public and fans are shocked.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is a series that prequels TLC’s hit show 90 Day Fiancé. Before all of the visa drama and the 90 days time frame for marriage, Before the 90 Days documents the couples meeting each other for the first time in person as they travel far and wide to meet their online loves. This series showcases the couples as they begin to discover their foreign loves, navigate cultural differences, and sometimes even overcoming language barriers. The couples will decide if their online romances are marriage material. Fans can prepare for plenty of drama with age differences, leaving family and friends behind, and adjusting to a new life in a foreign country.

The new season of 90 Day Fiancé has not even gone to production yet and already there is trouble brewing amongst the cast. According to the Daily Mail, one of the new men seeking love appeared in court over the weekend due to an apparent lover’s quarrel. 42-year-old Paschel from Tennessee will be appearing on the newest season as a single father who believed he has found love with his 30-year-old Russian girlfriend, Varya. However, something went dangerously wrong as Paschel was charged with aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, interference with emergency calls and vandalism.

The newest reality star was first arrested back in June of 2019 after his ex-girlfriend called the police and claimed that he had attacked in their shared, Tennessee home. According to court documents from the Knox County Criminal Court, the victim claimed that Paschel repeatedly slammed her head into the hardwood floors as well as dragged her through the house by her hair. She also claimed that he threw her into the walls and furniture. The court documents also showed that there was blood all over the floor and furniture and that she is asking for a petition of protection as she also reported that he had abused her on four other occasions in September of 2018. Paschel took to his defense saying that the alleged victim was lying and trying to damage his custody battle with his ex-wife, reconfirming that he did not rape her.

There is no word from the TLC network whether or not Paschel’s story will still be shown in the upcoming season nor if his Russian fiancé is weathering the media storm. The reality star is due back in the Nashville court in March of 2020. Fans are looking forward to a new season as season 7 has been pretty disappointing and quite possibly the worst one yet due to the couples being a bit boring and drama-free, however, it seems that this new season might have too much instability for audiences.
