Lisa and Usman, of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fame, are reportedly divorced. Even though the couple just began airing their storyline. it seems the couple ended their relationship before it even began.
Lisa Hamme met Usman Umar when the rapper slid into her private messages on Facebook. The mother of one did not take the Nigerian’s advances seriously at first as the two would only talk via Facebook messenger. Their relationship moved on to texting and eventually FaceTime. The two soon became engaged even though major red flags have been waved which included an age difference. Lisa is now looking forward to her trip to Nigeria to finally meet face to face.
In an ultimate spoiler, the Daily Soap Dish had revealed that Lisa and Usman are no longer together but actually divorced. According to the outlet, the couple married in Nigeria with home videos emerging online, but the marriage was only short-lived. The couple was married around August of 2019, however, on February 11th, Lisa listed herself as single. When investigating her social media her relationship status had not changed since the last update.
When fans had met the new couple last week, they were well aware that the couple had major issues to be worked on. Not only did audiences at home find Lisa way too controlling, but they also that she lacked self-awareness. When she arrived in Nigeria to meet Usman face to face, he described her a “70 percent good.” True fans believe that Usman is using Lisa for a green card as he admitted to cameras that he aims to make it big with his music career in the United States.
On Sunday’s episode, the artist rapped a song for Lisa about how much he loves her, however, tensions grew when Lisa found out he used a Nigerian model in her place. Lisa is beyond aggravated and demanded Usman cut the model out, which in the end he did. Her jealousy has only intensified as she cyberstalked his social media accounts and tell him she will not tolerate his female fans. Lisa also feels as if she controls Usman with providing unprotected sex. The TLC personality claimed Usman told her he had always worn condoms and have never experienced unprotected sex.
The couple in question have a lot of issues to work through as it does look like Usman is playing the long game to be granted access to the United States. Lisa does not hold back any feelings, no matter how cringe-worthy the moments become for viewers. Though they’re definitely an unusual pair, fans will have to continue to watch to see what actually broke the couple apart.
