90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days reveals that Angela Deem may use her daughter as a surrogate to carry her and Micheal Ilesanmi’s baby. On Sunday’s episode of the hit TLC series, 53-year-old Angela visited 31-year-old Micheal’s mother and told her about her plans to carry on the family name.

Angela and Michael have shown their tumulous relationship to audiences on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on season 2 and the current season 3. There have been plenty of breakups due to a mountain of trust issues. Micheal admitted to cheating on Angela shortly after they first got together and the reality stars have had several explosive fights on the show over the years, including on the season 2 “Tell All” special when Micheal referred to Angela as his “elder,” which caused Angela to throw her engagement ring on the table and stormed out of the interview. This season, Angela kicked Michael out of her hotel room because he lied about the last time he was on a boat. He slept in his car and got a cake to try and make things up to her - then she smashed the cake in his face. It seems like they’re trying to put their fights behind them and are now focusing on their future. Angela is trying to figure out any way possible to give Micheal the baby he desires.

On this Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days (via E! Online), when Angela visited Michael’s mother, Aduke, she revealed their plans about having a baby - or rather using Angela’s daughter Skyla as a surrogate to carry Angela and Micheal’s baby. Previously Angela had asked her daughter if she’d be willing to carry her and Micheal’s baby, Skyla first said no to the idea of her having one of her eggs, then once her mom asked her if she’d be a surrogate for the baby, she said, “I don’t know. I might carry it.” Without a definitive yes or no from her daughter, Angela went ahead and told Aduke that it’s the plan. Micheal expressed his happiness about the situation, saying to the cameras, “In Nigeria, everyone is expected to have a child to carry on the name of the family. So, I was happy when Angela told me her daughter might carry our baby.”

Aduke told Angela about Micheal being the only of her children to not bring her grandchildren, saying, “I don’t like that he’s the only one out of all my children who’s yet to have a child.” She expressed her concerns, saying, “I know it will be difficult to task a woman who is above 60 years old to get pregnant let alone birth a child.” Things got complicated, however, when Micheal’s mom misunderstood, asking her why not just have Micheal sleep with Angela’s daughter Skyla in order to have a baby. In which Angela quickly replies that it’s not an option.

It seems like through all of the issues that Micheal and Angela have faced, figuring out a way to bring a child into the world might be the toughest hurdle yet. It seems like neither has given up hope, however, it remains to be seen if Skyla is serious about “maybe” carrying their baby.
