90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger’s dad was arrested for drug paraphernalia possession. Nicole’s dad had been the only semi-supportive adult figure when it came to her foreign relationship, and it is obvious now that he has some demons of his own.
The 90 Day Fiancé couple, who became a fan favorite mainly due to their drama, recently announced that they made the surprising decision to not take part in the hit TLC show for its next season. The young couple has called off their engagements twice before because, as Nicole stated, they “weren’t in a rush.” The couple originally met on an international dating website and have stayed connected via video chat. Nicole has ventured to Morocco two times in hopes of a wedding, but each time has been stonewalled by Azan, who always has an excuse.
For once, Azan and Nicole are not in hot water, but Nicole’s father Tyler is. On October 21, Tyler was arrested for battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to In Touch, Tyler was still in police custody after he and an unidentified woman at a gas station started arguing near Manatee County. The Florida native stated he had met the women a couple of days earlier and that Tyler agreed to help the woman move out of her halfway house.
The woman claimed that she had got into a verbal argument next to Tyler’s car. She then said that the argument got progressively more hostile and Tyler placed his arm around her throat and tried to choke her. According to the woman, she could still breathe and did not fear for her life during the heated exchange, but she did believe that Tyler was going to hurt her. The mystery woman was able to get away from her aggressor by running to the driver’s side door and getting into the car. Before she could get the door closed, she claimed that Tyler grabbed her by the hand to try and drag her from the car. She screamed and he let her go and drove off. According to an eyewitness, the two were arguing and the woman did try to jump into Tyler’s car at one point. The eyewitness then said he grabbed the woman in a headlock and pulled her from the car.
Unluckily for Tyler, the gas station security camera caught the argument and the footage matched the witness and eyewitness story. It would seem that the apple does not fall far from the tree as Nicole had been caught on camera during filming hitting Azan while in Morocco. Fans are starting to believe it may be a good thing that the couple has chosen not to star in the next season.
