While season 7 of the flagship series concludes this week, fans of 90 Day Fiance are already gearing up for next week’s premiere of the franchises hit spin-off: Before The 90 Days. Viewers are anxiously awaiting the resurrection of trainwreck Darcey Silva, who’s been a staple of every Before The 90 Days season.
In the meantime, let’s look back on the ten most outrageous moments from season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?
“Fourth Times A Charm”
This entirely cringe-worthy moment during a video call Nicole makes to Azan in a coffee shop. After canceling yet another trip planned and funded by Nicole, Azan continues to make empty promises of marriage and future life together. Nicole’s completely tone-deaf to Azan’s weariness of her newly bright-purple hair color and flashes him the deuces, which isn’t even the worst part of this conversation.
As they discuss their plans to meet again, Nicole unabashedly exclaims: “fourth times a charm,” referencing, of course, their three failed attempts at getting married. Oy vey.
Nicole’s Step-Dad Intervenes
During season four of Happily Ever After? Nicole’s family seems even more fed up than they already were with her constant back-and-forth with Azan, and rightfully so! After canceling their planned trip to Grenada due to an elusive family emergency, Azan promises Nicole they will finally get married once she visits him in Morocco again.
“He’s had a couple of chances to marry you and backs out each time,” her stepdad Joe says, calling out the ugly truth. Nicole continues to defend Azan and live in denial, even after Joe mentions the multiple emails he’s received from a man who lives in Morocco and says he knows Azan is scamming Nicole! Though she immediately deflects these claims, both viewers and Nicole’s family see through a lens that isn’t so rose-tinted!
Chantel Calls Out Colt At The Tell-All
During the filming of the tell-all, cameras catch a heated discussion between Chantel and Colt as they duke it out in the green room. After he stupidly inserts himself into an argument Pedro and Chantel are in the middle of, Colt gets a slice of Chantel’s biting tongue. “Love is not enough– I’ve learned that the hard way,” Colt explains after Chantel’s embarrassment from Pedro making joking comments about divorce.
“Is it because you love your momma more than your ex-wife?” Chantel haughtily retorts back, the satisfaction sinking into her face. Colt defends his mother’s situation and promptly tells Chantel to “shut the f— up!”
“There Is No Store”
Nicole and Azan had called off their wedding once again during the end of season 3 on Happily Ever After? claiming they would invest the $6,000 Nicole had saved up into a “beauty shop.” Though the investigatory fans of the franchise already knew no such store had opened, nobody expected Nicole’s admission.
“Even though I told my mom that we were talking about opening a store, we never winded up going through with it.” Nicole nonchalantly mentions to her producer in an ITM. The producer makes sure to clarify, asking “so, there is no store?” to which Nicole acknowledges, “there is no store.” The question on everyone’s mind: what happened to that six thousand dollars?!
Andrei Snatches Elizabeth’s Phone
Andrei and Elizabeth have been the focus of some more-than-uncomfortable scenes, but this out-douched them all. After Elizabeth gets in an argument with her sisters over Andrei’s lack of motivation and, well, the inability to provide for his pregnant wife, which results in Libby being picked up by Andrei, upset about the fight. As he’s explaining how over it he is, Libby begins texting her sisters, which pisses Andrei off to no avail.
As he’s driving, Andrei demands she put her phone down and stop texting them, the tension palpable. “Don’t respond I said!” He retorts, forcibly grabbing the phone right from her paws! Luckily Elizabeth snaps back, making it obvious his behavior was assuredly not OK. Regardless, the two are still married.
Jay’s Barber Friend Tells Ashley About His Bathroom Affair
Jamaican 19-year-old Jay made a Tinder account just days after their nuptials in Vegas, which Ashley soon discovered. As she teeters between disdain for the situation and the love she feels for Jay, Ashley is unsure of her next step. She’s called into the barbershop where Jay sometimes performs tattoo work, unprepared for the bombshell that’s about to be dropped.
The shop owner revealed revolting details of Jay bringing a client into their work bathroom, during business hours with children around, and the sex noises he heard thereafter. He plays Ashley a video of the back porch security camera which shows the shop owner aggressively choking Jay out of rage and incredulity. Ashley leaves in a state of disbelief and bewilderment, breaking down into tears in the alleyway.
Ashley Calls The Cops On Jay
This moment comes hot off the trail from Ashley’s sickening bathroom discovery. Incensed, Ashley no longer wants to play nice, and the gloves surely come off. “You’re f—ing disgusting and you’re full of s—," she shouts at him. “I hope your d— shrivels off and you f—ing rot in hell and f—ing die. Way to use someone for a green card.” Ouch! Can you blame the girl, though?
She decides to call the police in a fit of rage and payback, to which Jay rebuttals: “I can simply go and find someone else, marry someone else and stay in the U.S. if I want. Simple. So don’t feel like you’re f—ng God where I have to kiss your a–.” Yikes! Jay was eventually detained as a result, though he was soon released after and is reported to still be in the United States.
Pedro’s Sister Nicole Shows Chantel Video of Pedro Grinding
This betrayal is one of the more sordid to make the list. After Pedro takes off for the Dominican Republic and blatantly tells Chantel not to follow him, he arrives in his home country only to find himself in loads of trouble. During a night of drinking with old friends, Pedro mistakenly removes his wedding ring, drinks away his sorrows, and begins to dance with his sister’s friend who’s always had a thing for him.
Problem is, Pedro didn’t realize his sister Nicole was filming her friend inappropriately straddling and grinding all over him! Once Chantel arrives in the DR after intuitively raising suspicions, she has a sit-down with Nicole, Pedro, and his friends, when Nicole pulls out her phone to expose Pedro’s indiscretions! “You deserve this,” Nicole proudly tells Chantel– an incredibly foul and disrespectful revelation on so many levels!
“Don’t Terrorize Me With Your Pregnancy”
During this scene, Andrei continues to madden viewers. Elizabeth, exhausted and very pregnant, pleas to Andrei, explaining how critical it is for him to ask her father for a job. With his glaring arrogance in the way, Andrei continues to dig his grave, being unappreciative and indolent to Elizabeth’s father’s continuous helping hand. “Because of your pride and your ego, you refuse,” Elizabeth claps back. “And I’m over here stressed out and pregnant, and have all this weight on my shoulders.”
And then, Andrei drops a line that chilled women across the 90 Day universe: “Don’t terrorize me with your pregnancy!”
Pedro’s Mom Lydia’s Horrendous Comments
This horrifying moment is almost too repulsive to believe. Pedro and Chantel’s brother River got into an all-out brawl at the Family Chantel dinner table, which resulted in Pedro immaturely kicking the table. When Chantel is met face-to-face with Pedro’s mother Lydia, she makes sure to bring up the scenario. “I’m not going to flip over your table, honey,” Chantel snaps at Lydia, who is more than offended by her lack of apology.
“If I had been there, I would have beat all of you up. First, the sister, followed by your mother, your brother too. If I was there I’d beat all of you up.” Now that is some jaw-dropping drama! Pedro’s family continues to disgust throughout the TLC spin-off The Family Chantel.
