90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s Jihoon Lee has admitted to Deavan Clegg that he quit his job after the recent birth of their son. With plans to move her family to South Korea, the news shocked Clegg, causing a major argument.

The young couple, who now stars on the hit TLC spin-off, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, met in person after hitting it off on a dating app; Clegg was from Salt Lake City, while Lee lived in South Korea. After speaking for a couple of months, Lee took the leap and went to visit Clegg in Utah, not knowing he would get her pregnant on the very first night they met. Lee stayed in the US for three months learning of her pregnancy on his last day. Lee later proposed to Clegg when he came back and visited her in Las Vegas with his mother and father.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers watched as Lee admitted to his fiancé that he had just quit his job as a used cell phone salesman back in his home country (via: The Wrap). He explained that the job just wasn’t paying him enough to support both his growing family and his outstanding credit card debt. To no one’s surprise, Clegg does not seem to accept the excuse as she was planning on moving her life to South Korea to make a home with her husband-to-be. Before Clegg became pregnant, she was an internet model who made her living posing for ads. When she became pregnant, she was forced to go on maternity leave, which did not allow her to contribute to the new family’s finances.

Co-parenting does not look like it will be easy for the couple who also struggle with a language barrier. After Lee dropped the job bomb, Clegg confessed that she was very upset he decided to quit his job without discussing it with her beforehand, as she believed having a job was better than not having a job. She even went as far as saying she wanted to call off her whole move to South Korea because she doesn’t feel that Lee is prepared to make sacrifices for his new family. Lee currently lives in a small house with his mother and father and she does not want to have to depend on them for help in any way. Sadly, Clegg had already quit her job in Utah and sold all her possessions before she was told of the news.

For the time being, the couple will have to come to terms with Lee’s decision, while figuring out how exactly they’ll make ends meet with their new baby on the way. That said, even though it’s not an idea situation by any means, it isn’t going to be impossible. Where there’s a will, there’s an “other way.”
